The Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library will host Opera at the Library on Monday, April 23 at 1:45 pm in room 108, presenting Vincenzo Bellini’s opera I Capuleti e I Montecchi (The Capulets and the Montagues).
I Capuleti e i Montecchi is an Italian opera (Tragedia lirica) in two acts with a libretto by Felice Romani. This is a free program with English subtitles and we hope to enhance your knowledge and appreciation of this beautiful art form. Light refreshments will be provided during the intermission for our guests.
