Lace up those running shoes and get ready to go green! The 2026 Shamrock Shuffle is racing back into Clermont for a morning of fitness, fun, and festive flair.

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., runners and walkers of all ages will gather at Lake-Sumter State College South Lake Campus for this high-energy community event. The course kicks off on campus, challenges participants along the scenic South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension, and loops back to campus for a well-earned celebration—complete with green beer for participants 21 and older in the Green Beer Garden!

Participants can choose from a 1-Mile Fun Run, 5K, or 10K. Every registered runner will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and medal (guaranteed for those registered by February 15, 2026). Competitive runners will be professionally timed, with placement recognition awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races.

This family-friendly event promises plenty of shamrock spirit while supporting a meaningful cause. All proceeds benefit the LSSC Foundation, which provides scholarships and educational support for students at Lake-Sumter State College.
