South Lake High’s own Coach Bradley Lord was honored as the Nike Coach of the Year — a well-deserved recognition of his leadership, dedication, and commitment to building not just strong athletes, but strong character within the program.
Adding to the celebration, South Lake High School has been recognized for its Central Region Football Program of the Year at the prestigious Nike Coach of the Year Clinic, held February 26–28 at the Westin Lake Mary.

This recognition goes far beyond wins on the field. It celebrates the collective effort of players, coaches, sponsors, administrators, teachers, and the entire local community who support and uplift the Eagles. The award reflects a culture built on teamwork, discipline, pride, and a shared belief in excellence.
South Lake High School continues to be a shining example of what can be accomplished when a community rallies behind its students.
Congratulations to Coach Lord and the entire Eagle family on this outstanding achievement.
Soar Eagles Soar!
