A fun, family-friendly Earth Day celebration is set for Saturday, April 25, at Lake Hiawatha Park in Clermont (450 12th Street). beginning at 7:30  am. This free community event invites residents of all ages to come together for a day focused on environmental awareness, hands-on action, and family fun.

The day’s activities will include a community lake cleanup, engaging environmental education opportunities, a lively kids’ zone, music from a live DJ, and much more. The event offers a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors while learning how to protect and preserve the natural environment.

Eco-Friendly Vendors Welcome
Eco-conscious organizations are invited to participate at no cost. This is a great opportunity to share environmentally friendly information and resources with the community. While product sales are not permitted, eco-friendly giveaways are encouraged. Interested organizations can register through the online vendor application.

Join the Lake Cleanup – Free to Participate!
Individuals, families, and community groups are invited to roll up their sleeves and help clean up local lakes and parks. Participants can compete for fun awards, including:
‱ Most weight collected
‱ Oddest item found
‱ Largest volunteer group

Pre-registration is encouraged. Those who register by April 10, 2026, will receive a free event T-shirt. Participants can register online and complete the required liability waiver in advance, or sign up on the day of the event.
