Families are invited to gather at Waterfront Park on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, for Clermont’s annual National Night Out, a free community celebration designed to bring neighbors and law enforcement together in a fun and welcoming environment.
Hosted by the Clermont Police Department from 5 pm to 8 pm, the event is part of a nationwide campaign that encourages strong police-community partnerships and promotes neighborhood unity. National Night Out provides residents with an opportunity to meet local officers, learn about public safety initiatives, and connect with fellow community members while enjoying an evening of family-friendly activities.
The event will feature a variety of vendors, community organizations, law enforcement agencies, and food providers, creating an interactive atmosphere for all ages. Children and families can explore public safety resources, meet first responders, and discover ways to help keep Clermont’s neighborhoods safe and connected.
Local food vendors are encouraged to participate by offering complimentary samples to attendees. Food vendor registration is $50 and requires participants to provide between 150 and 200 free samples during the event. Vendors must also submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing the City of Clermont as an additional insured. Register here
Non-food vendors are welcome as well, with participation open to organizations and businesses whose missions align with public safety, crime prevention, and community well-being. The registration fee for non-food vendors is $25. Register here.
