Orlando Health South Lake Hospital will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month with “Sip and Screen: Pink in Paris,” a Parisian-inspired evening focused on women’s wellness, early detection and breast health.
The event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 7 pm at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, located at 1900 Don Wickham Drive in Clermont. The event will be held at the Center for Women and Babies entrance.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about breast health and Orlando Health’s comprehensive breast care services while enjoying a variety of wellness and social activities.
On-site offerings will include:
- Screening mammograms for eligible attendees
- The opportunity to schedule a future mammogram appointment
- Meetings with Orlando Health physicians
- A tour of the Breast Imaging Center
- Information about Orlando Health Cancer Institute – Clermont and its growing cancer care services
- Mocktails and charcuterie
- A special photo opportunity
- Chair massages and an essential oils station
- DIY flower and charm bars
Screening mammograms will be available for women beginning at age 40. Those interested in receiving a screening mammogram at the event should call (321) 841-5274 to make an appointment.
The event is designed to bring women together in a relaxed setting while highlighting the importance of breast cancer screening and early detection.
