Dr. Joah Aliancy recently made a presentation to the Clermont Woman’s Club to help educate them on identifying the correct kind of doctors to treat various eye conditions – helping to identify various local professionals and when it was important to seek out help.
Dr. Aliancy is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, with expertise in interventional glaucoma, anterior segment disease, cataract and refractive surgery. He recently founded the Clermont Eye Institute to provide minimally invasive and advanced glaucoma surgeries, cataract surgery and various anterior segment laser treatments. He is currently the only ophthalmologist in Clermont specializing in the treatment of Glaucoma.
The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated Woman’s Club chartered in 1927. It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they can support international, national, and local charities. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at their clubhouse at 655 W. Broome Street and 7th Street, Clermont. For more information see www.clermontwomansclub.org.
