Clermont Florida is the “Choice of Champions” and the Starbound Performing Company Elite Team is part of that championship spirit! The team of 11 performers, ranging in ages from 6 to 14 years old recently completed their 2018-2019 competition season with 12 National Titles, 15 International Titles, 4 US Titles and 3 World Titles. Awards included Best Choreography, Grand Champion, Overall Best in US, and National Dance Team Award.
Team members include: Madison Bruno, Haley Cartwright, Emma Cartwright, Alexa Hershberger, Elizabeth Lowe, Annabelle Pikunis, Camila Pinto-Prada, Makayla Rink, DeKoda Rink, Nathaniel Soto and McKenzie Whitehead. The team is based out of Starbound Performers Performing Arts Center in Clermont. Studio owner, Jennifer Hawkins, is the Director of the team, with assistance from coaches David Ruiz, Megan Ewing and Casey DiPersio.
Starbound Performers is celebrating its 10th year in Clermont with studio expansion at its location at 335 Frontage Road, Clermont (across from the Citrus Tower Publix) and a gymnastics facility opening in the fall of 2019 in Groveland, onsite at Integrity Christian Academy.
