Advent Health appeared before Clermont City Council to request the rezoning of property located at 14138 State Road 50 from C-2 General Commercial to a Planned Unit Development.

City Council unanimously approved the zoning change which will allow Advent Health to go ahead with its plan to build a Medical Health Park Campus on the 10.97 +/- acre site.

The parcel, located by the intersection of State Road 50 and Citrus Tower Boulevard, is the former Don Mealy Chevrolet Dealership.

The project will consist of two buildings.

The first building – an off-site emergency facility. The building will be approximately 18,500 square feet, hold 24 beds, and be staffed with doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel.

The second building – a 36,500 sq. ft. medical office building

Advent Health has shifted the project to the current site to eliminate any waivers to the code. They had previously submitted plans for a similar project on the adjacent parcel that included several waivers to the Land Development Code.
