On May 2, Well Of Hope Food Bank partnered with New Water Church and Medicare Plans and Access (MPA), in a Food Drop at Backlot Apartment, located 8600 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy (Four Corners area). More than 80-percent of the residents at the Backlot Apartment Complex are unemployed and without benefits at this time.
The mission of the Well of Hope Food Bank is to train, restore, educate, and equip families in need with the tools to achieve. These goals are met by providing food, rental and utility assistance, furniture, and transportation needs.
Pastor Michael Hopewell thanked New Water Church and Medical Plans and Access, owner Orlando Ruiz, for their assistance and partnership in promoting the mission of Well of Hope. He also thanked the Lake County Sheriff department and LASER for delivering much of the needed food to Lake County and Well of Hope Food Bank.
