As restaurants and shops in Lake County begin to reopen, the City of Groveland’s Let’s Eat initiative is offering safe options for residents who may be wanting to avoid crowds and would prefer to order food in advance. The City has partnered with a variety food trucks with different cuisines, who are ready to serve local families. Each evening beginning on Sunday, May 10th from 5:00 pm -7:30 pm, and beginning again on Tuesday May 12th through Friday, May 15th, a food truck vendor will be positioned at Cherry Lake Park located at 131 Wilson Lake Parkway, Groveland, FL 34736. For the safety of our residents and to minimize crowds, there will only be one food truck featured per night.
The vendor schedule for each night with the exception of Monday, will be as follows:
- • Sunday, May 10th – Simply Divine Latin Food (321) 354-7937
- • Tuesday, May 12th – Oshimotto (407) 360-6934
- • Wednesday, May 13th – Willy T’s Seafood Shack (407) 844-9698
- • Thursday, May 14th – El Cubanito (305) 305-7438
- • Friday, May 15th – Woodson’s Wrap Shack (407) 962-6378
To place an order, customers are encouraged to call ahead or text the numbers listed above. It is anticipated that most customers will order to-go, as there will be no outside seating available at the site. In adherence to the Centers of Disease Control health safety recommendations, there will be cones positioned at 6-foot interval distances, to ensure there is a sufficient amount of space between parties who choose to order in person and those retrieving their call ahead orders.
