Darren and Karen Johnson, owners of The Clermont Brewing Company (CBC), have a strong stake in the community. Darren has lived in Clermont for over 25 years. His wife Karen (maiden name McGuire) has lived in Clermont her entire life.
Last year the Clermont Brewing Company (CBC) opened and immediately became a popular hot spot of south Lake County. It offered dining, live music, In-house brewed beers, specialty cocktails, as well as a variety of choice wines. The outside bar and patio was arranged with large tables for groups and intimate seating areas.
Community ties run deep. When COVID-19 hit, Darren made the decision to temporarily close the restaurant; but as soon as the CBC reopened, Darren provided platters of foods to the Clermont Police department.
Some things may change while everyone makes sense of social distancing and face coverings but, you can be sure you’ll always receive a warm welcome and friendly service at CBC.
