Upon a request from the activity director at the Lakes of Clermont a Health and Rehab home requesting VFW Post 5277 of Clermont to donate a raised garden for a few of their residents in wheelchairs. So the Commander & Quartermaster went online and found one for $75.00 and purchased it. We assembled it and painted it then purchased soil, vegetables and flower seeds for $35.00 Upon gathering all together we donated the ready to use raised garden to the home on Tuesday, July 21. Everyone was ecstatic.
