Long-time resident and business/property investor Robert “Bob” Joseph Wade, 76, of Clermont, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Bob owned or was involved in many of the business development/projects in Clermont beginning over 50-years ago when he opened the well-known “Bob Wade Ford”, at that time, one of the first and only dealerships in the Clermont area. The dealership was located on the corner of Hwy 50 and Grand Hwy (presently 7-Eleven). He eventually moved the business to east Hwy 50 (the current location of Ford of Clermont).
