The Galleria at SOMA officially opened on Friday, April 22, in Downtown Clermont. Family, friends, and community leaders celebrated the opening and The South Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Galleria at SOMA is a relatively new concept for Clermont, positioned as a mini-mall with a variety of retailers, jewelers, boutiques, wardrobe stores and food specialties. Each mini business has its own space within a bright and friendly cooperative shopping environment. SOMA means ‘South of Minneola Avenue’.
Shops at Galleria at SOMA include Teamont, 4 Oak Lane, Press’d Juice Bar & Kitchen, Clermont Wine Exchange, The Galleria Bar, Nery’s Jewelry Box, Costa Nostra Italian Street Food, Fake Sugar, and veteran-owned – Homegrown Apparel.
The Galleria at SOMA is owned by Patrick Bianchi, Thiago Alves, Eduardo Delpupo and Victor Berriel.
Managing Partner Victor Berriel shared, “The Galleria at SOMA is a new premier downtown retail experience that will focus on unique artisan products and services that aren’t easily found in Clermont. Quality is our hallmark. Every detail has been meticulously thought out in order to create an opportunity for people of all ages and all walks of life are to explore and shop. We will host a series of special events with live music, entertainment, a wine club and many more exciting downtown experiences. This is only the beginning as more diverse retailers and food services are scheduled to move in soon!”
