Brad Lord, the new Football Head Coach at South Lake High School, is ready to soar like an Eagle. He comes to South Lake from Foundation Academy, a private Christian school in Winter Garden, where he coached for many years.
Coach Lord is excited to become an Eagle and exclaims, “The administration, staff, students and parents have welcomed me with open arms to the South Lake Campus”.
He anticipates that the South Lake High Football Team will rebound and improve from an 0-10 season in 2022. He notes, “Senior Jeremie Clark and sophomore Tyger Darden will both be getting a lot of snaps and running the Eagle offense during the spring. The Eagle’s strengths are their offensive and defensive lines that have both depth and size”. He continues, “We are young and raw. If we tackle, block, execute, and take care of the ball the rest will take care of itself”.
