West End Plaza (formerly Galleria Soma) will celebrate its opening with Live Music, Food Trucks, and More. The festivities will begin after a ribbon cutting on Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm. and continue on Saturday, June 17, from 11 am to 5 pm (821 W. Minneola Ave.)

Suds Saloon Opens a new location in the West End Plaza

Sud’s Saloon, a beer and wine bar, located inside the Montrose Street Market at 793 West Montrose St)  is opening a second location at the West End Plaza (821 W. Minneola Ave.)

June 16 – City of Minneola (11 am) Minneola City Hall, 800 US 27, Minneola – A foot-stomping, hand-clapping good time with guitar playing.  Mr. Harley knows all the classic children’s songs, but it’s his original compositions that get the biggest applause. Kids will have a blast while parents can relax and kick back or join in.

June 17 – Lincoln Park South Lake Alliance and The City of Clermont invites everyone to a Juneteenth “Freedom” Celebration (5 pm – 8 pm) at Waterfront Park

Groveland June 15- June 17 Summer Book Sale – books, books, and more books along with DVDs, CDs, & puzzles that can keep you entertained. You may also purchase tickets to be entered in the “Summer Sports Fun” drawing. The winner will receive a Logan soccer ball, jump ropes, bubble wands, whiffle balls & bat, and more fun items. The library is located at 756 W. Broad St., Groveland, 12 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, June 15 and 10 am-3 pm Friday, June 16 and  Saturday, June 17.

The City of Minneola has hired a full-time recreation coordinator to provide more community events. The coordinator will be planning activities including, Kids’ Safe Night Out and Moonlight Christmas Parade, movie nights, future children’s summer camp, a farmer’s market, some live music with food truck vendors on occasion in the park as well as several other things. Be ready for some fun events including Minneola’s 100-year celebration.
