Week in Review (February 26-March 2)

 Monday, February 26

  • Girls Tennis Team won 8 – 0 against Eustis.  The Boys Tennis Team lost to Eustis.
  • Lyman won the Girls Lacrosse match 12 – 3.
  • The Softball Teams ran into two strong Apopka teams.

Tuesday, February 27

  • The Baseball Teams ran into two strong Mt. Dora teams.
  • The Boys Lacrosse Team defeated Montverde 13 – 6 in a great match at home.

Wednesday, February 28

  • Baseball struggled against Bishop Moore.
  • Softball struggled against Osceola and
  • Girls Lacrosse struggled at Windermere.

Thursday, March 1

  • Girls Tennis defeated West Orange while the boys lost.
  • JV Baseball defeated Colonial by the score of 7 – 5.

Friday, March 2

  • Girls Tennis defeated South Lake High while the Boys Team lost.
  • Baseball struggled against Real Life,
  • Softball struggled against Cornerstone and
  • Girls Lacrosse struggled against East Ridge High School.

At the Raider Invitational Track Meet at South Sumter,

  • The Girls Track Team won their first championship of the season.  The girls were led by Skye-La Gustavus, Ellie Kunze, and Cadi Rowe.  The
  • The Boys Team finished 2nd out of 15 teams led by Noah Quintana, Malachi Shannon, and Liam Quintana.  Skye-La came in first place in the 100 hurdles, Noah won the mile and 800.  Malachi won the Long Jump and 400m. Liam won the 3200m, and Cadi won the 3200.

This week is busy

Monday, March 5

  • Boys Lacrosse hosting Winter Park  and
  • JV Baseball is traveling to West Orange.

Tuesday, March 6

  • Boys and Girls Lacrosse will host Evans, while
  • Softball will travel to Forest.
  • JV Track Team will compete in the Developmental Track Meet.

Wednesday, March 7

  • The Baseball Team will only play a varsity game at Buchholz.

Thursday, March 8

  • Boys Lacrosse will host Apopka and
  • Softball Team will host Forest.

Friday, March 9

  • The Baseball Team will host Buchholz,
  • Lake Minneola will host the Hawks on the Hill Invitational,
  • Boys Weightlifting will compete in their district meet,
  • Girls Lacrosse will travel to Lake Mary Prep and
  • The Softball Team will compete in the Montverde Invitational.
