A beautiful sunrise and perfect Spring temperatures greeted 98 runners, walkers and joggers at this week’s Clermont parkrun. This week our entire group was extremely motivated, and that showed all 98 participants finished the course in under 50 minutes! Of our total parkrunners there were 11 first timers and 36 recorded new Personal Bests.

This week Doug Guthrie took first place overall with a strong time of 19:14.  Chris Wedge followed closely behind finishing in second place with a great time of 19:17 and Daniel Whitehouse rounded out the top 3 with a Personal Best time of 19:41.

On the ladies side, Alexis Hill who celebrated her 50th parkrun and Mackenzie Hill who set a Personal Best finished in first and second spot pretty much even with times of 22:33 and 22:34 respectively.  Karah White another of our Junior runners took third spot by setting a Personal Best of 22:50. Great job by all!

The free 5k event was made possible by our 10 volunteers:

Frances POST • Larry HEVNER • Yolimar BOLIVAR • Sally SCHADE • Daniel WHITEHOUSE • Shelly LINDER • Dottie HARDING • Anne BENINGHOF • Joe BENINGHOF • Bill POST •
