The fourth Tuesday of each month is designated as an evening meeting by the Kiwanis Club of Clermont. At a current evening meeting, the club welcomed members of the South Lake High School Key Club and their faculty advisors.

The Key Club members attending the meeting were President Emily Loomis, Treasurer Becky Smith, Webmaster Angelica Ogbuehi, Faculty Advisors Kari Stacks and Charlene Brown. Also present was a proud Martha Jones who is the Kiwanis Advisor for the Key Club.

President Emily Loomis spoke about the recent Key Club District Convention at which the club received an award for membership growth. The club membership showed a 156% increase (from 32 to 82 members) for the current year. Emily also spoke about some of their community service projects
