Horses with a Mission

Beta Theta, ESA was chartered in 1979 and for over 39 years, its primary mission has been to provide high school scholarships and assist worthy organizations that impact the South Lake County community. Beta Theta raised over $17,000 at its annual premier event, Mardi Gras fundraiser and, because of that success was able to present a check to “Horses with A Mission”.

Since 2011, Horses With A Mission has been providing therapeutic riding lessons for the disabled. The program offers occupational and physical therapy lessons for children and adults who wouldn’t ordinarily have the chance to ride. Its mission is to foster the physical, psychological and social well being of individuals with special needs and disabilities through positive interactions with horses.
