The Thrive Clermont organization held a Thrive Supporter’s Brunch on Sunday, December 9 at The Lab Hair Studio in Downtown Clermont. This event is an annual thank you to the individuals and organizations that support Thrive’s efforts to provide enrichment programs for teens between the ages 13-17 in south Lake County.

Enrichment programs provide “skill building, socialization, and mentoring opportunities for healthy youth development.” Teens can participate in the Summer PopUps Series, Teen Volunteer PlugIns, Teen Summits, and the Teen Advisory Council (TAC) Leadership Group.
St. Matthias Episcopal Church presented Thrive Clermont with a $1,500.00 check from a raffle at the church’s recent Fall Vendor Fair. St. Matthias and Thrive have developed a close relationship. The church provided space for courses during this year’s Summer PopUps and allowed Thrive Clermont teens to earn volunteer credit by supporting the setup and break down of the Fall Vendor Fair.
Sheri Lewin, Director and Founder of Thrive Clermont, announced several new initiatives and grants they have received to expand their enrichment programs. For more information about Thrive Clermont, go to www.thriveclermont.org.
