What an amazing way for RUSH Allstar Cheer to wrap up the postseason!

Two teams competed this past weekend at the D2 Summit National Cheerleading Competition at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.

The Savagecatz Junior Level 3 Team, received “0” deductions on Day 1 of competition and placed 16th out of 47 teams from all across the U.S.  Only 12 teams advanced to finals, but the scores were so close, only 0.2 points separated the team placing 12th and our Savagecatz!

The Sabercats, Senior Level 1 Team represented well!  They also received “0” deductions on Day 1 and advanced to the finals.  The Sabercats finished in 5th place in the Nation for their division out of 32 teams.

As this season comes to an end, RUSH Allstar Cheer is looking forward to kicking off its 10th year of Competitive Cheer.

RUSH Allstar Cheer is the only competitive cheer gym in Clermont.  It teaches tumbling, stunting, and dance techniques at all levels (from beginner Level 1, to advance Level 5), but that’s not all, these athletes learn how to work together as a team, they learn discipline, and commitment. Our coaches have over 20 years of combined experience.

Athletes from around Lake County are already getting ready for the next season. Tryouts are scheduled to begin on May 20 – 22  (must attend all 3 days) Boys and girls, ages 3 through 18, are eligible to participate and everyone makes a team. Tryouts are primarily to determine which level teams the athletes are to be placed on.

The gym is located at 345 Hatteras Ave. Clermont.  Contact the gym 352-243-2800 for complete tryout information.
