During this season of giving, the Clermont Woman’s Club (CWC) donated to the South Lake Animal League. The donation was presented by Daniela Martinez on behalf of the CWC and accepted by Jennifer Blank of the South Lake Animal League.  Pictured above is Beautiful, a female German Shepherd, whose name credits her beauty. She was left leached outside in the backyard when the homeowners moved.  Since she was not receiving enough food or able to move around, she lost muscle strength and is now learning to walk again. Can you imagine anyone, so cruel and heartless, that they would do that? Poor Beauty must have suffered, been scared and anxious. How horrible. How cruel of an owner.

Beauty and other pets at the Animal League are looking for homes.  They need your support. To learn how you can help, visit the Animal League.

The Clermont Woman’s Club invites prospective members to meetings at the Clubhouse at 655 Broome Street and 7th Street, Clermont on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:30 pm. For information see www.clermontwomansclub.org
