Central Florida Dreamplex of Clermont held the official ribbon-cutting of its most recent program addition, The Friendship Place. The ribbon-cutting was hosted by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 21st with friends, family, and program participants in attendance. 
 
The Friendship Place, 2400 South US-27, Clermont, provides adults with disabilities, age 22 and older, with a safe and engaging daytime program to meet their mental, social, and healthcare needs while providing respite to caregivers.

“We are committed to providing the safest, most engaging program for those who need a place to meet others, participate in fun activities, and practice life skills,” says Cameron Gomes, Dreamplex Director. 
 
The Friendship Place is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Participants can attend two to five days a week, depending on program space and availability.
