Week in Review (April 23 – April 27)
Tuesday, April 24
The Baseball Team defeated Eustis by a score of 13 – 6. Several of the younger players got to play in their first varsity game.
Wednesday, April 25
The Lady Hawks Softball Team lost in the semi-finals of the District Tournament to Forest High by a score of 1 – 0. Morgan Shannon pitched a great game for the Lady Hawks.
Thursday, April 26
The Track Team participated in the Regional Track Meet. Noah Quintana, Cadi Rowe, Malachi Shannon, Alex D’Ambrosio, Mimi Cleaves, Skye-La Gustavus, and Jasmine Lawrence advanced to the State Track Meet at the University of North Florida.
Friday, April 27
The Baseball Team honored its seniors on Senior Night. The Hawks won in the bottom of the 7th inning by a score of 11 – 10.
Week of April 30 – May 5
On Monday, the baseball team begins play in the District Tournament at Ocoee. They also have games scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday in the District Tournament at Forest High. The track team members that qualified for the State Track Meet will compete on Friday and Saturday at the University of North Florida.
