It was a great weekend for South Lake Athletes.

Clermont’s Josh Castleman put on the 2nd Annual America’s Mighty Warriors Military Race at the Historic Village benefiting former American Soldiers. This field included Clermont’s Chief Chuck Broadway and City Council Member Diane Travis.

Clermont’s Tami Ritchie was the fastest local finisher (10:20) and the first female overall to cross the line at Ironman Florida in Haines City.

Minneola’s Kimberly Grogan ran a BQ personal best (3:26) at the New York City Marathon.

Clermont’s Boki Maric was 12th in his age group (10:22) at Ironman Florida

Clermont’s Daniel Whitehouse finished his first Ironman at Ironman (12:41) Florida in Haines City.

Clermont’s Andy Aziz rocked the Savannah Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon (1:37).
