Smokin’ Jacks Bar-B-Q has been completely remodeled and celebrated its official grand opening on June 18th.  Ambassadors and members of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted the ribbon cutting.

The building was once the site of Jack’s Bar-B-Q, a local dine-in favorite since 1952. When the previous owners retired and closed the restaurant, new owner Billy Kicklighter made plans on keeping part of Jack’s 70-year old past, while making Smokin’Jack his own, with a newly remodeled interior, new savory Bar-B-Q sauces, a full bar with top-shelf liquors, beers, and wines, as well as full platter deals for take out.

Smokin’ Jack’s attractive mascot (a smokin’ pig) is available for purchase on their mugs, glasses, t-shirts, and hats.  BBQ rubs and sauces can also be purchased.
