August is the dog days of summer. To beat the heat let’s spend some time indoors chatting with some like-minded family historians on Zoom. You can exchange knowledge and discuss a genealogical topic in a friendly informal setting.

The Pastfinders Genealogy Society has chosen a topic for discussion. Although the host and co-host may have resources and insights to share, you may be able to contribute and help others learn. The lineup for August is as follows:

Monday, August 2 – Kick up your kilt on Monday the 2nd to do some Scottish research.

Tuesday, August 10 –  Learn some techniques on writing your memoirs.

Wednesday, August 18 –  Grab a bratwurst for lunch and let’s talk about German ancestry.

Thursday, August 26 – The last GenChat of the summer will help you learn what a lineage society is and the process to join one.

We hope you will tune in, learn, and contribute to the GenChats open forum. All sessions start at 11:00 am.
