The No Kings, Vote Early event will take place on October 17, from 10 am to 1 pm, beginning with a brief rally at Clermont City Hall, located at 685 W. Montrose Street in downtown Clermont. Following the rally, participants will march to State Road 50 to wave signs and demonstrate their support for voting rights and civic engagement.

Organizers say this event carries a special significance as participants come together to advocate for the right to vote, encourage greater voter participation and inspire eligible voters to cast their ballots early.

Community members are encouraged to invite family, friends and neighbors to attend, regardless of political affiliation. Democrats, Republicans, independent voters and those with no party affiliation are all welcome.

“We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next,” is the message organizers are sharing as they encourage eligible voters to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future.

The No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are intended to increase participation among all eligible voters. To maintain the event’s nonpartisan focus, local political party clubs and groups have been asked not to distribute political materials or have candidates attend to promote themselves.

Organizers hope the event will bring community members together around a shared commitment to civic participation and the importance of making their voices heard through the ballot box.
