A Home Cleanup Hotline has been opened to support survivors of Ian. The call center will open after the storm passes and we anticipate call center volunteer groups will be answering calls for assistance through October 28, 2022.

Survivors needing assistance at their residence can call 800-451-1954.

This number is to help volunteer response groups know where they are needed most. Church, community, school, and other groups utilize the information from the Crisis Cleanup Hotline to organize their efforts and bring relief to victims of Hurricane Ian.

Work orders are generated for:

  • Fallen tree removal
  • Drywall, flooring, and appliance removal
  • Tarping Roofs
  • Debris removal

Crisis Cleanup is a collaborative disaster work order management platform. All services are free. Volunteers from around the country donate time to answer calls from survivors and catalog work orders.

Reporting to the Crisis Cleanup Hotline does not guarantee assistance. But, with the collaboration of over 1,800 volunteer organizations, the Crisis Cleanup Hotline has helped more than 80,900 homes and businesses find the helping hands needed to get on the path to recovery. The hotline has been vital in cleanup efforts after many storms including the 2020 tornado in Franklin, Tennessee and hurricanes Ida, Sally, Irma, Matthew, Andrew, Sandy, Ida, and others.

Emergency calls should be directed to the appropriate local emergency management service.
